The prophecy states the Messiah would be in the belly of the earth 3 days and 3 nights. It is also written that the scriptures cannot be broken. Therefore, Yeshua MUST have been in the belly of the earth for 3 day and 3 nights to satisfy that prophecy qualifing Himself as the Messiah just as any of the other prophecy must be fulfilled.

First of all, Yeshua is the Messiah and our Lord, but Friday sundown to Sunday sun-up is NOT 3 days and 3 nights. There is one day missing out of this teaching which has been indorsed over time by the slumbering Christian community.

Without going into all the documentation, which anyone can verify on their own, it seems necessary to point out, that any Christian Bible scholar or Pastor knows, or should know, that "Good Friday" is nothing more than a Roman pagan festival originally called the "Day of Blood,"
followed by Easter sunrise servive which is NOT the LORD's resurrection, nor does it have anything at all to do with the LORD's Passover.

Easter is another Roman pagan festival associated with Spring and the fertility goddess, Astarte or Ishtar (the Queen of Heaven spoken of by Jeremiah). It is this same, Easter (East-err of a forgotten pagan origin), combined with sun-worship, and cloaked with a biblical theme which has, over centuries, finally become accepted by our slumbering Christian brethren who think they are honoring the Lord's resurrection.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Neither is this study attempting to point out or debate whether anyone is right or wrong by which evening they observe the Passover, the beginning of the 14th or the end of the 14th. The very fact that it is in one's heart to observe the LORD's true Passover speaks volumes in itself.

This study is to point out the facts as they occured, and the scripture proof that Yeshua did fulfill the true LORD's Passover and the required
3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the earth just as the prophecy demanded the Messiah must do.

According to the Scriptures (Genesis), God's new day begins in the evening at the going down of the sun, NOT at midnight as the Gregorian Calendar works. There is only ONE evening and ONE morning per day.

Now lets set the stage as things transpired:

It was the evening of the 14th (the begining of the 14th) and Yeshua and His disciples observed the Passover. (Luke 22)

Lu 22:11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master
saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

Lu 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

Judas left to inform the Priest to set up Yeshua's arrest; Yeshua and the rest of the disciples left to go to the mount of Olives where that same night He was arrested and taken first to Annas, then to Caiphas

Joh 18:13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

Joh 18:24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

As daybreak came (on the 14th) while it was early, He was led to the Judgment hall to Pilate, but they themselves did go. This was done so they would not be defiled so they could eat their Passover (at the close of the 14th begining the 15th, the evening after the Lord had His).

Joh 18:28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment:
and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

After Pilate questioned Yeshua, he sent Him to Herod, but Herod sent Him back to Pilate only to be beaten and mocked. Now it was about the 6th hour of the day on the 14th of Nisan, the Jews preparation day of the Passover.

Joh 19:14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

Yeshua was led away to be crucified. He was on the tree from about the 6th hour (around noon) till the 9th hour (around 3Pm) on the 14th day of the 1st month.

Lu 23:44–46 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit:

and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

When they took Yeshua's body down off the tree, the begining of the new day was at hand. The Scripture records He was taken down because it was the Jews preparation and so the Jews would not be defiled and so they could observe their Passover begining that evening, the end of the 14th; Yeshua's body was placed in the tomb as that evening approched which began with the 15th day of Nisan (The 1st Day of Un-leavened Bread).

Joh 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

There is only ONE evening and ONE morning per day. You can look on any calendar and see that many observe the Passover at the close of the 14th which is begining the 15th still to this day. However, the Lord Himself called His "the Passover" THREE different times in Luke 22 and it was at the begining of the 14th not at the close of the 14th. Yeshua was God manifested in the flesh. If anybody on the planet knew when to eat the
Passover, I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt, that He did.

Then as it began to dawn towards the 1st day of the week Mary and others came to the sepulchre where they had laid Yeshua's body, but the tomb was already empty, meaning that Yeshua's resurrection took place at the end of the Sabbath as 3 days and 3 nights came to an end.

Joh 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

Below is the Hebrew date: Nisan 14, 30 AD. This year falls on what we call "Wednesday" or the 4th day of the week. Any one reading the Manna Week at this website will quickly understand why this sequence is necessary. It is the exact day sequence at the original Passover with Moses and the children of Israel before the left Egypt. In addition to that, but not the reason for, from 3 or 4 BCE to 30 AD also put Yeshua at the right age. Please take a look at the chart detailing the days according to scripture.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE

The scripture is not explicit about the exact minute of His resurrection. Since Yeshua is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28), it is more likely that He was raised at the end of the Sabbath at the going down of the sun (the completion of 3 days and nights) just when God says His day starts.

Mary saw Yeshua in the garden on the first day of the week, the day after the weekly Sabbath. Why did she think He was the gardener?

Yeshua was not in a flower bed as so many may visualize, He was in a garden. And the reason Mary thought He was the gardener was that He was gathering His sheaf of First Fruits to wave as He, The High Priest, is commanded to do.

Yeshua was risen from the dead to become the first fruits of them that slept (1Co. 15:20).

Note: Some say the commandments of God were done away with, then why is Yeshua Himself still obeying them by waving the sheaf of First Fruits?
Answer: They have NOT been done away with. Yeshua's blood was shed for the remission of OUR sins not the remission of GOD's commandments.

The following additional information is added for clearification...

Forgotten origins breed twisted truth. Our Lord’s Resurrection and Easter Sunday Morning are NOT the same. (*Read a brief explanation of Easter at the close of this response.)

It was not implied in the above study that the Lord’s resurrection was at sunrise and the scripture certainly doesn't say it either. We need to un-brainwash ourselves from that old teaching assuming our Lord was raised at sunrise. That teaching stems from the Pagan Easter Sunday Sunrise Sun Worship Service that has been spoon-fed to us since we were little children. This pagan holiday has been crammed down our throats cloaked with the biblical theme of our Lord's resurrection until we’ve finally swallowed it hook line and sinker.

As the chart above illustrates, Yeshua was most likely raised late in the evening exactly at the close of the 3rd day in the tomb (the end of the weekly Sabbath) just as the 1st day of the week was beginning, making Yeshua the LIVING FULFILLMENT OF THE FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS (see chart above). The scripture even says that Christ was raised from the dead becoming the firstfruits of them that slept. However, many do not bother to learn the Feasts of the LORD, thinking they are the Jews feasts or just a bunch of Jewish stuff that doesn't apply any more.
Nothing could be further from the truth!! In Lev. 23 God is very plain saying they are HIS Feasts. Yes He says they are HIS Feasts.

Beside all that, If He is our God, and we claim to be His people, and we know that Yeshua (His Son) is the Messiah, shouldn't we, at the very least, learn what His Feasts are all about and just exactly what they represent; after all they are the PROPHETIC BLUEPRINT to God's Plan! And it's none other than Yeshua who's going around fulfilling them one right after another! There are only three left unfulfilled and they are: (1) the Feast of Trumpets (we've all heard of the "last trump"), (2) the Day of Atonment, (we've certainly hear of the Judgment day), and (3) the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths (and most of us have heard about the wedding feast too). It can't get anymore obvious than that.

The Scripture cannot be broken. The prophecy says the Messiah will be cut off in the MIDST OF THE WEEK. The 4th day of the week is the midst of every week. Even the original Passover in Egypt was also on the 4th day of the week. The 4th day of the week is even when the lights of Heaven were created, and we all know who the Light of the World is.

In order for the Messiah to accomplish these four things: (1) to be cut off in the midst of the week, (2) the Jews to observe the Passover on the wrong day, (3) Yeshua to fulfill the prophecy of three full days and nights in the belly of the Earth, and (4) to be raised on the Feast of First Fruits, on the day after the weekly Sabbath (YESHUA BEING THE LIVING EXAMPLE OF THE FEASTS HIMSELF), He must have been crucified on the 4th day of the week (the 14th of Nisan) and His lifeless body placed in the belly of the earth that evening (beginning the 5th day of the week), calculated as follows: the 15th of Nisan (the Feast of Un-leavened),continuing through the 16th of Nisan, and to the close of the 17th of Nisan, totaling the 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb and risen on the 18th on Nisan, the 1st day after the weekly Sabbath, fulfilling the Feast of First Fruits, which is on the 1st day of the week.

As stated before, the scripture is not explicit about the exact minute of His resurrection. Since Yeshua is Lord of the Sabbath also (Mark 2:28), it is more likely that He was raised at the end of the Sabbath at the going down of the sun (the completion of 3 days and nights) just when God says His day starts.

Why does the day count start at the evening instead of the daytime, and why are the 3 days mentioned before the 3 nights? Think about it for a minute....When does God say HIS day begins? Check out creation in Genesis and HE tells us: ”and the evening and the morning was the 1st day.” His day begins with the evening…

What was Yeshua doing hanging around until daylight? He was waiting to gather his sheaf of First Fruits to wave before God as He, the High Priest, is commanded to do on the day after the weekly Sabbath, which falls during the Feast of Un-Leavened Bread. That is why Mary thought He was the Gardner, He was gathering His sheaf to wave, He sure wasn’t smelling the flowers. Besides, the Scripture says He was in a GARDEN, NOT A FLOWERBED as most visualize.

Plus, according to the purification Laws, when touching the dead, you are unclean for seven days. He even told Mary not to touch Him and that He hadn’t even ascended to the Father yet. Neither did He show himself fully to His disciples until the 8th day after which He was clean, The Scripture was very clear to make that point stand out.

Some of the crucifixion is touched on in the "Daniel's Timeline" DVD.
However it is not intended to debate which hour or how long He was on the tree (not cross), but rather to point out the first day in the tomb showing the real 3 days and 3 nights, de-bunking the Good Friday and Easter junk.

It is more than obvious Yeshua was put in the tomb at the close of the midst of the week, which was the close of the forth day of the week (the 14th of Nisan), which began the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD that evening (the 15th). Even in death His lifeless body fulfilled and represented this Feast of the LORD also. And of course after First Fruits comes the Feast of Weeks, called Pentecost in the Christian Community, when the Apostles, after receiving the Holy Ghost, spoke in tongues.

Yep, He fulfilled them all (filled them up full of meaning) in an 100-fold measure except for the last three which is obvious He will fulfill upon His Glorious Return…

*A very brief history explanation on Roman Paganoligy:

The Statement:

I would like to make one thing clear right up front; Easter is NOT the LORD's Passover. Easter has nothing to do with God or anything Holy.
Easter is a disgusting pagan festival associated with fertility and false god worship which came down from the ancient Babylonian times, long before the Christian or Messianic era.

Easter, it just so-happens, was celebrated in the Spring close enough to the LORD's real Passover that the enemy of God was able to use the ole "bait and switch" on our slumbering Christian Community who now think they are honoring the resurrection of our Lord when in actuality they participating in one of the most un-holy holidays of the year.

The Explanation:

Romans worshiped many false gods. One of their major pagan god worship was the days of “Weeping for Tammuz” (Eze8:14), now called Lent. This pagan festival lasts for 40 days (one day for each year of the life for Tammuz who was killed at the age of 40 by a wild boar).

The final week of weeping for Tammuz is called Holy Week. Holy Week began on what was originally called “The Festival of the Entry of the Tree” (now called Palm Sunday). At the end of the so-called Holy Week (the final week of weeping for Tammuz), comes another festival that was originally called “The Day of Blood,” yep, you guessed it, it's now called Good Friday. We now come to the final pagan worship festival in the conjoined festivals called Astarte or Ishtar (worshiping the Queen of Heaven – Jer. 7:18 and 44:18-25). It took place on Sunday morning at sunrise worshiping the rising sun (Eze8:16). Its modern day name is Easter or more accurately EAST-ERR. Check it out for yourself………

Who was Tammuz :

After the death of Nimrod, it was said that He ascended up into the heavens as the first man-god. Then, at a later time, his widowed wife turned up pregnant. She claimed to be impregnated by sunrays sent from her late husband, Nimrod, who was going to give re-birth to himself.

The truth of the matter is that she was impregnated by an inessential affair with her own son, fathered by Nimrod. When the baby was born, he was named Tammuz, the re-incarnation of Nimrod.

Tammuz was killed by a wild boar at the age of 40. Nimrod’s wife, upon her death, was claimed to have ascended into heaven becoming Astarte or Ishtar, the queen of heaven.
